Neil Lanasa appointed as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

FedEx Supply Chain, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and an industry-leading third-party logistics provider (3PL), is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Lanasa as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer reporting to Art Smuck, President and CEO.
In his role, Lanasa will be responsible for creating the strategic financial vision for the organization, and he will also oversee the company’s financial reporting, compliance practices, annual budgeting, financial modeling and overall forecasting.
Lanasa brings with him more than 14 years of experience with the FedEx enterprise, most recently serving as the Managing Director of Finance at FedEx Ground.
He has extensive experience setting the vision and driving the strategy of finance across the enterprise. He has consistently delivered excellent results through outstanding management and high levels of teammate engagement.

Lanasa will serve on the company’s executive leadership team where he will provide guidance and direction on its long-term growth strategy. Currently, FedEx Supply Chain operates more than 130 operations in the U.S. and Canada providing solutions that span distribution, non-asset-biased transportation management, e-commerce fulfillment and reverse logistics to customers in key industries including e-commerce, retail, healthcare, technology and consumer and industrial goods.
